WAY CARBON MATRIX CARE & MAINTENANCE

To ensure that the Way Carbon Matrix shaft with its AeroFlex Carbon Core™ consistently delivers peak performance and the most authentic feel, proper maintenance is essential. Please adhere to the following guidelines to preserve both its performance and warranty coverage.

Important Warning: The surface of the Way Carbon Matrix shaft is finished through a specialized process to achieve its naturally smooth texture. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you sand, polish, or apply any abrasive materials or chemical agents to the shaft’s surface. Doing so will permanently damage the finish, potentially compromise the carbon fiber structure, and immediately void the warranty.

Specialized Cleaning Method

To keep your shaft clean and naturally smooth, please follow these simple steps:

Required Materials:

  • Isopropyl Alcohol (75% concentration or higher).

  • A clean, lint-free microfiber or soft cloth.

Procedure:

  • Step 1: Use a dry, clean cloth to gently wipe the entire shaft, removing dust and chalk residue.

  • Step 2: Dampen a second clean cloth with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. Wipe along the full length of the shaft while rotating it in your hand to ensure the entire surface is cleaned evenly. You may notice some dirt appearing on the cloth – this is completely normal.

  • Step 3: Continue wiping until the surface is completely clean. Allow a few minutes for the alcohol to evaporate and the shaft to air dry naturally.

Important Note: Never use baby powder, talcum powder, or any other lubricating substances. The finish of the Way Carbon Matrix shaft is engineered to deliver optimal smoothness without the need for additives. Such powders can accumulate within the micro-grooves of the carbon fiber, reducing performance and creating a sticky feel.

Tip Replacement: Preserving Performance

The Way Carbon Matrix shaft features a premium Juma ferrule, allowing for easy and safe tip replacement without compromising the integrity of the carbon structure.

  • When replacing the tip, it is crucial that only the ferrule surface be worked on. The cue maker must never sand, trim or machine any part of the carbon shaft itself.

  • After replacement, the ferrule height must remain greater than 1mm to maintain warranty validity.

  • We strongly recommend having your cue serviced only by reputable cue technicians who have proven experience working with carbon shafts to énure absolute safety and performance

WARRANTY NOTES

  • Warping: The Way Carbon Matrix shaft is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against warping defects caused by manufacturing issues.

  • Improper Use: The AeroFlex Carbon Core™ is engineered to deliver flawless energy transfer along the longitudinal axis but is not designed to withstand strong lateral forces. Never bend, strike, or hit the shaft against the table or other object.

  • Diameter Modification: Any attempt to alter the original diameter of the shaft will damage the ultra-thin carbon fiber layers and immediately void the warranty.

Proper care of your shaft not only protects your investment but also embodies the “Way to Win” spirit—ensuring your weapon is always in peak condition and ready for victory.v
